Ingredients
- 2 pound ground chicken
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 yellow onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
- 2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 8 ounce can sliced water chestnuts
- 1 1/2 cups cooked brown rice
- 3 green onions, sliced
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 heads romaine lettuce
- Salt & pepper
Directions
- Add ground chicken, bell pepper, onion, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, salt and pepper to crock-pot. Cover and cook on low heat 2-3 hours until chicken is tender.
- Stir in water chestnuts, cooked rice, green onions, rice vinegar, and sesame oil, and cook until heated through 3 – 5 minutes.
- Separate romaine lettuce and serve with chicken filling.
